Make a Way
During this season in my life, I have probably endured some of the most unfathomable things, things I never thought would happen to us. These types of situations can become all-consuming and take over your life. I’m thankful though that even though at times I felt self-pity and depressed I am constantly reminded that my God is bigger than my circumstances. He is my anchor through the tough times. Not only is he my anchor and Jayson's anchor, but he also answered our prayers. When all you know is stripped away all you can look at and turn to is the Lord.
I love the song “Make a Way” by Chandler Moore and Elevation Worship. It reminded me of all the ways God has already worked miracles in my life. I especially loved the lyrics “nothing is too hard for you, impossible is what you do.” I feel we need to stop allowing our circumstances to dictate how we see God. Although our finite brains cannot comprehend what our infinite God can do, we need to trust He can do greater things than we could ever imagine.
